The North Carolina National Guard is hosting the Region III Best Warrior Competition at the Camp Butner National Guard Training Center, Stem, N.C., May 14-18, 2019. Ten states and territories will participate in the five-day competition that evaluates physical fitness, weapons qualification, road march, land navigation, warrior tasks and battle drills, a stress shooting course, urban operations, and a professional appearance/review board. The best overall non-commissioned officer and enlisted soldier in Region III will move on to the National Best Warrior Competition this summer.
