Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) engineers Bryan Akagi and David Belanger test the Hazardous Weather Detection and Display Capability (HWDDC) system at SSC Pacific on Feb. 14, 2012. HWDDC is a collaboration between SSC Pacific and Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, Virgina Beach Detachment (NSWC PHD VB) and provides situational awareness for warfighters with increased weather detection capabilities.
