190429-N-N0701-0001 NORFOLK (April 29, 2019) An illustration depicts the tracking movements of “Fiori,” a Kemp’s ridley sea turtle that was released off the coast of Virginia during November 2018 after being rehabilitated. As part of a collaborative research project with the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center, the sea turtle is equipped with a U.S. Navy-funded satellite tag used to record movements and habitat use of the species.
