Petty Officer 3rd Class Ashley Cameron, a aviation ordnanceman, and to two Filipino translators assist a Filipino patient during check in for medical care aboard amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5), June 30. A group of Filipino patients arrived by helicopter aboard Peleliu for various medical treatments in support of Pacific Partnership 2007. In the long-standing Navy tradition of rendering assistance at sea from the sea, Peleliu works with host nations and non-governmental organizations (NGO's) to offer medical care as well as to complete construction and engineering projects during Pacific Partnership.
