Sparking Ingenuity: 584th Maintenance Company first in the 101st Airborne Division to receive new metal working equipment

Soldiers of the 584th Maintenance Company, 129th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), measure the thickness of a piece of sheet metal, while civilian engineering instructors demonstrate how to use the plasma cutter machine. The plasma cutter is one of many pieces of equipment housed within the Metal Working and Machining Shop Set (MWMSS) given to the 584th MC, who base their operations out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, April 3-12, 2019. The 584th MC will be the first company within the 101st Abn. Div. to receive this new and innovative equipment.
