Pearl Harbor, HI (18 March 2019) - Corporal Dylan Bejer, USMC, was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal by Cmdr. R. Corey Cherrett, commanding officer of the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC). Cpl. Bejer, originally of the MCAS Kaneohe Bay METOC Platoon, filled a critical manning shortage at JTWC, qualified for the geophysical technician watch position ahead of schedule, and trained new incoming Navy personnel, in over 6 months at JTWC. Cpl. Bejer will rejoin his platoon at MCAS Kaneohe Bay and pass on the intensive tropical meteorology training he received at JTWC.
