I am originally from Tokyo, Japan.
When did you join the Navy?
I shipped off to boot camp in April of 2003.
What instrument do you play?
I am a Clarinetist.
Where did you go to school to study music?
I have a Master’s Degree in Music Performance from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.
Why did you join the Navy?
I joined to Navy for the opportunity to play my instrument on a worldwide stage. It has been a gratifying experience serving in the Navy while performing around the world.
Favorite place you have visited?
Some of my favorite places in the world are Palau, Micronesia, New Orleans, Louisiana, and Puerto Rico.
What do you do in your off time?
It’s a passion of mine to research local food. Here in Italy on my time off I like to go to local restaurants and learn how to cook in the Neapolitan Style.
