190220-N-PV215-1032 NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY BAHRAIN (Feb. 20, 2019) Vice Adm. Jim Malloy, commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT), U.S. 5th Fleet, Combined Maritime Forces, hosts a breakfast for the commanding officers of U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard ships forward-deployed to Naval Support Activity Bahrain. U.S. Naval Forces Central Command conducts maritime operations to deter and counter regional threats, defeat violent extremism and strengthen partner nations' maritime capabilities in order to preserve the free flow of commerce and promote a secure maritime environment in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
