    Army Pvt. Carl Roberts, left, and Pfc. Noah Johnson, both assigned to Blackfoot Company, 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army Alaska, set up a M224 60 mm mortar system while training at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Feb. 2, 2019. The Spartan paratroopers acted as opposition forces for visiting Soldiers, assigned to Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division out of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, as they hone their ability to survive, operate and fight in a cold climate.
