I met Airman Basic Kowitz as he opened the door for me while I was going to the Supply building.
"Currently, I’m working on balancing my Air National Guard life and working on getting my Communication degree. Communications is something I know I would excel at and is a very broad spectrum for any potential job I would like to go into. I would really like to be a technical writer for an IT company. My experience in the ANG has been great because Retention and Recruiting are very friendly and welcoming. So far, I have been waiting for eight months to go to tech school and I'm excited, but it will be tough to go back to the structured environment. But I know with discipline and my study habits, I will be able to breeze through tech school without an issue. Tech school is eight weeks in Virginia and I will get to see a new part of the country I haven’t seen."
