Incoming commander of the New York Air National Guard's 107th Airlift Wing Col. Jim McCready honored President Millard Fillmore today in a ceremony recognizing the Buffalo resident's 211th birthday. Each year a ceremony hosted by the University of Buffalo is held at Fillmore’s gravesite recognizing his birth and his accomplishment throughout his life. "I am honored to be representing the President of the United States, President Obama, at this most prestigious event marking the 211th anniversary of the birth of Millard Fillmore, 13th President of the United States and native of western New York," McCready said.
