Elizabeth Taylor is a photojournalist in the U.S. Army Reserve, currently a sergeant serving as a public affairs professional for the 200th Military Police Command, responsible for assisting in covering the training, deployment and missions of approximately 14,000 Military Police Soldiers across 36 states and deployed abroad.
Taylor enlisted as 42A, human resource specialist. Taylor graduated from the Defense Information School as a 46Q, public affairs specialist, in 2013. In 2014, she went on to obtained an additional military occupation specialty of 46R, public affairs broadcast specialist. Since that time, Taylor has worked as a public affairs mass communication specialist, at the 200th Military Police Command serving to promote the military and the Army life to nationwide and audiences.
Taylor was selected for the advanced photo team for the DOD Storytelling Workshop (2018) and
competed in the DC Video Shoot-off (2016)
Taylor is an independent photography business owner of Blue Elephant Visuals. Her stories and photography has won one first place Brumfield multimedia and one honorable mention portrait.
She holds a master’s degree in Social Work and is a licensed clinical social worker.
