FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (Nov. 22, 2018) – Army Soldiers in initial military training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving Day feast, Nov. 22, 2018, at the post’s Double Dining Facility, Building 6111. Described as the “Super Bowl” of mealtimes, the installation provides 12,000 meals during the traditional Thanksgiving celebration and more than 30,000 meals total throughout the day. Though trips to the dining facilities are common, seeing Soldiers have the chance to relax for a gourmet meal is rare during training.
