Sgt. 1st Class Jonathan Collier, Victor Company, 262nd Quartermaster Battalion, marches troops to the dining facility at lunchtime March 15. Collier is one of four 23rd Quartermaster Brigade advanced individual training platoon sergeants who recently attended a two-week conversion course at the U.S. Army Drill Sergeant Academy at Fort Jackson, S.C. The group graduated March 12 and became the first NCOs to don campaign hats here since 2008, the year drill sergeants were replaced with AIT platoon sergeants. The Army reversed the policy last year. NCOs from the 23rd QM Bde. as well as the 59th Ordnance Brigade are scheduled to complete the conversion by the end of this year. See the complete story with photos in the March 22 edition of the Fort Lee Traveller.
