GULFPORT, Miss. (Dec. 3, 2018) - Capt. William Whitmire, commanding officer for Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) Gulfport, Miss., and Pamela Olrich, Harrison County administrator, sign the first intergovernmental support agreement (IGSA) between NCBC Gulfport and Harrison County, Miss., at the Harrison County Courthouse Dec. 3, 2018. This IGSA, which is also the first of its kind for a U.S. Navy installation in Navy Region Southeast, focuses on Mosquito Surveillance and Abatement Services, which will enable NCBC Gulfport to purchase mosquito surveillance services from Harrison County at a pre-determined price on an as-needed basis.
