Retired Senior Chief Aviation Machinist's Mate Scott Wood carefully restores a Saturn V F-1 rocket engine to its original condition at the National Air & Space Museum's Paul E. Garber Preservation, Restoration and Storage Facility. Five F-1 engines were used on the stage one portion of the Saturn V rocket to launch the project Apollo missions into space in the 1960s and 1970s.
