Army Sgt. 1st Class Richard Alan plays with his 2-year-old daughter Felicia at the Air Force's newest passenger terminal family lounge at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. Within a few minutes of the opening ceremony, Sgt. Alan and his wife, Army Capt. Sara Alan, became the first family to take advantage of the new lounge. Both are members of the California Army National Guard, and Capt. Alan has just returned from a 10-month deployment in Iraq. On their way to Hawaii for a well-deserved vacation, Capt. Alan remarked, "At most air terminals there is not much offered for kids, so this is great."
