Evans Army Community Hospital Command Sgt. Maj. Frederico Conde, Leo R. Winburn, Evans ACH chief of environmental services, and Col. Eric S. Edwards, hospital commander, present Winburn with two Greenhealth Awards during a ceremony in Oct. The awards, Emerald Greenhealth Award and Greening the OR (Operating Room) Recognition, were earned by reducing medical waste throughout the hospital. Winburn accepted the award on behalf of the hospital’s Soldiers, staff and environmental services department for partnering to help achieve mindful sustainability.
