William Palmer, commanding officer of Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) Northwest, presents the Gold Level Award for Safety Management Systems (SMS) to Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Equipment) 1st Class Henry Larreynaga and the rest of the safety team at Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey Island. FRC Northwest earned Gold Level recognition for its SMS program becoming the first FRC command in the Navy to receive such a distinction.
