Army Maj. Gen. James Linder, U.S. Special Operations Command chief of staff, meets with U.S. House Armed Services Committee Professional Staff Members Pete Villano and Lindsay Kavanaugh during their visit to USSOCOM headquarters on MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., Oct. 23, 2018. The staff members toured the Joint Special Operations University, conducted an office call with the USSOCOM deputy commander, and engaged in roundtable discussions with USSOCOM subject matter experts from a variety of fields.
