Lance Cpl. Leepoleon Jackson, an administration clerk in the Administration and Manpower Section, 2nd Marine Division (Forward), said he hung out with the wrong crowd in high school, and his mother enrolled him in a program for at-risk youth. The Virginia Beach, Va., native liked the military lifestyle so much, he signed up for the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps when he returned to high school and later joining the Marine Corps.
