The Horsham Air Guard Station, Horsham, Pa. clicks the switch to save power here in 2018. One such initiative included replacing all the conventional street lights on base with high-efficiency lights.
According to the Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnership, the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states have nearly 5 million street lights. Replacing those with more efficient units would cut their power consumption nearly in half. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Senior Airman Timi Jones)
