Work can be the highlight of your day if you have someone as outgoing and entertaining as Tech. Sgt. Brandon Onofer is. Even though he is often criticized for his long snapping days at Geneva College, Brandon demonstrates his ability to be a strong reliable NCO by providing quick, solid, and accurate information instantly when a young 1st Lt. walked in bearing questions. Brandon began his military career in logistics planning but took advantage of the opportunity to become a boom operator in 2013. Brandon has always wanted to be in some form of aviation and now he gets to look down at the world from 32,000 feet. In five short years, he’s spent over 1050 hours in the sky and has seen remarkable sites like the Palm Islands in United Arab Emirates or the mountains of Afghanistan. Sgt. Onofer pointed out that one of his most memorable landmarks was the Mosul Dam. “Seeing something that is all over the front page news 32,000 ft. below me was just very interesting.” said Sgt. Onofer.
