CAMP RED CLOUD, Republic of Korea – Then, Staff Sgt. Jose Ibarra, El Monte, California native, and public affairs broadcast specialist, captures video during an area surveillance with 2nd Cavalry Regiment while deployed to Afghanistan. Ibarra was vital in preserving the unit’s historical lineage during the 2013-2014 deployment. His broadcast media products ranged from public service announcements to news stories of the regiment’s partnership with its European allies.
