New Yorkers--and all Americans--will always remember where they were when they heard the news: that World Trade Center, the twin monoliths that dominated the Manhattan skyline for 28 years, had fallen. For many, this day was the reason they chose to serve in the United States Army, to sign on the dotted line, knowing war was on the horizon. We will continue to honor the courage and bravery of those who were lost on that fateful day. (U.S. Army Infographic by Spc. Adeline Witherspoon, 2nd Sustainment Brigade PAO)
