Reserve Citizen Airman Tech. Sgt. Damon Jones, (Jacksonville Florida) 920th Rescue Wing Command Post, just completed law school and was working as a temp within a legal firm in Jacksonville, Florida when he received word to mobilize with his unit at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida to Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, to assist as needed with Hurricane Florence relief efforts. “I was at home when I got the notification to mobilize,” he said. “I cut my temporary position short to support the Hurricane Relief operations.” Jones is conducting personnel accountability, in-processing and out-processing of 334th Air Expeditionary Group Airmen, as well as tracking flight data.(U.S. Air Force photo/Tech.
