Afghan National Army soldiers are improving and perfecting their tactical proficiency through an ongoing drivers training course at Camp Hero in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
During the course, instructors from the ANA’s 5th Kandak, 1st Brigade, 205th Corps observe, mentor and train the Afghan soldiers on how to operate and maneuver a series of tactical vehicles, with the most popular being the five-ton international truck. Afghan soldiers are also taught how to properly perform preventive maintenance checks and services on their vehicles in an effort to keep the 5/1, 205th fully mission capable.
