Capt. Steven A. Shapiro (front row, far left) poses for a photo with members of the 29th Area Support Group, circa 1995. The support group was a pre-cursor to the Theater Logistics Support Center-Europe which is now a brigade-level, multifunctional logistics organization subordinate to the 21st Theater Sustainment Command. The TLSC-E celebrated its 20th anniversary, July 2018. Presently, Shapiro is now a Major General and the commanding general of the 21st TSC.
