A class of nursing students had a special visit from Earlyne Reidland Sheets, a World War II Army nurse Aug. 7, 2018. The 100-year-old Army nurse spoke to the students about her experiences and answered questions. Sheets was stationed at Brooke General Hospital at Fort Sam Houston and also worked there as a civilian nurse for many years before retiring. (U.S. Army photo by Lori Newman)
