This is a graphic of the combined search patterns Coast Guard surface and aircrews conducted August 17 through August 18, 2018, to search for two missing persons in the vicinity of Pamlico River, North Carolina. Coast Guard Sector North Carolina directed the launch of a Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew, a fixed-wing Coast Guard Auxiliary aircrew, and Station Hobucken’s 45-foot Response Boat—Medium boatcrew, along with a 24-foot SPC-SW, boatcrew.
