Hatem Kareem Saloom, artillery director for the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, participate in a table-top artillery exercise with partner nations at the Regional Artillery Symposium in Nashville, Tenn., Aug. 9, 2018. The symposium enhanced the interoperability and cooperation of regional partners by creating an open forum for partner nations to discuss field artillery operations, tactical planning and execution methodologies in order to strategically develop the use of artillery assets in the U.S. Army Central area of operations.
