Public Health Technician Senior Airman Nefertiti Wade is a mother of two, a student at the University of Pittsburgh, and a full-time employee at the 171st Air Refueling Wing Medical Group. She has a bachelors degree from the University of Houston in health promotion and has set her masters degree plan towards infectious diseases in the microbiology department. Her overall goal from her studies is to help prevent the spread of infectious disease. Wade doesn’t have much time to herself but when she gets a chance, she enjoys expressing herself as an artist through wood burning and glass etching. “It’s a stress relief from the drastic science related areas” said Nefertiti.
