Coast Guard assists disabled, adrift vessel in East River
Coast Guard Cutter Wire, homeported in Bayonne, NJ, assists a 39-foot vessel disabled and adrift with three people near Hell Gate, Queens, New York. Cutter Wire took the vessel in tow until it was able to restart an engine and a 29-foot Response Boat-Small boat crew from Coast Guard Kings Point safely escorted the passengers and vessel to a safe haven.
