Members of a joint service honor detail guard two flag-draped transfer cases on a C-17 Globemaster III during an Arrival Ceremony, Sept. 9, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The ceremony, hosted by the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command, was held to honor Americans lost during the Vietnam War. Following the ceremony, the remains were transported to JPAC's Central Identification Laboratory for analysis. The mission of JPAC is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of Americans missing as a result of our nations past conflicts.
