Spc. Rickey Buckler (left) with the 1067th Composite Truck Company, 228th Transportation (Motor Transport) Battalion, 213th Regional Support Group, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, discusses a hazardous materials military airlift practical exercise with Spc. John Anderson during the Technical Transport of Hazardous Materials certification course May 17 at Camp Joseph T. Robinson, Ark. The challenging 80-hour course qualified the two graduates to certify the transportation of HAZMAT by land, vessel, commercial air and military air, and was held at the National Guard’s Professional Education Center May 7 – 18, 2018. Buckler, from York, Pa., a seven-year unit veteran, and Anderson, from Philadelphia, with four years in the unit, are both motor transport operators.
