Lt. Col. Mike Pelletier, electronics federal technician with human resources, New Hampshire National Guard, and a Goffstown, N.H., native, recounts the call he received from his wife telling him that his nephew’s flight, American Airlines Flight 11, was used in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11. The events of Sept.11 were instrumental in his decision to return to service. Soldiers like Pelletier ensure that Third Army continues to honor the past and shape the future in all their endeavors.
