Southrider, N.J., native Staff Sgt. Travis Platt, the platoon sergeant for 2nd Platoon, Company B, 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, operating in southern Baghdad with the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, stands in front of his battalion headquarters at Forward Operating Base Falcon May 12. His platoon has been responsible for the discovery of 50 improvised explosive devices, and taking 15 insurgents off the streets of Baghdad's East Rashid District.
