(May 6, 2018) KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Bulgarian Army Soldiers stand in formation to received awards during a celebration of Saint George's Day on Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, May 6th. Saint George's Day, also known as the National Day of Bravery, is an official Bulgarian holiday which has been celebrated since the formation of the Bulgarian Army 140 years ago. Units with the Bulgarian Army are a part of the NATO Resolute Support Mission assigned to Train, Advise and Assist Command-South (TAAC-S).
