Sgt. Scott Moore, 22, a native of Grove City, Pa., currently serves as the data chief for the Communications Platoon, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment. “I joined the Marine Corps because I thought it was going to be the hardest thing I could do and was kind of rebelling against the expectation to go to college,” said Moore. “I thought the Marine Corps could teach me a lot more about life and myself and would force me to grow up a little bit.”
