Mr. Ted Podewil, right, speaks during the March 29th commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the first mass-tactical parachute operation near Camden, South Carolina. The operation, conducted by paratroopers of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, proved mass-tactical airborne operations could be successful and provided valuable training for the paratroopers before conducting four Regimental-sized combat jumps in the WWII European Theater.
