John Shick, center, before Australian Cmdr. Scott Craig, assistant Naval Attaché for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), presents Shick with an honorary membership in the RAN Clearance Diving Association in a ceremony on the NECC quarterdeck. The Association's appreciation stems from Shick's dedicated effort in ensuring the RAN EOD divers, part of the multinational Task Unit he commanded during Desert Storm, were properly recognized for their work.
