Cpl. Tyler Huffman, a wounded warrior and Missouri native, threw the first pitch to begin the Marine Night Baseball Game at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Huffman was injured in Helmand province in December 2010 with the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment while on patrol. Marine Week provides an opportunity to increase public awareness of the Marine Corps' value to our nation's defense and to preserve and mature the Corps' relationship with the American people.
