Capt. Gabrielle Quintero, one of the nurses currently enrolled in Army Medicine’s specialized obstetric/gynecologic program at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, answers Capt. Shannon E. Eoute’s questions during the Evidence-Based Practice Rodeo, held Feb. 6-7 at the Fort Hood hospital. Though Eoute is currently in an administrative role as commander of Troop Command’s A Co., she said the presentations are added value to patient care. The educational forum for CRDAMC’s medical providers exposes them to specialized research in women’s health and labor and delivery, which ultimately benefits healthcare delivery in military treatment facilities.
