Lance Cpl. Katherine Reed, a native of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, is a meteorologist and oceanography analyst forecaster with 3rd Intel Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, and is qualifying on rifle range at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 27, 2018. “The hardest part about the Marine Corps is being taken seriously,” Reed said. “A lot of people look at me and think I’m a lot younger. I'm actually 26.
