180210-N-SF984-0102 PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 10, 2018) Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Aaliyah Terrell of Fort Worth, Texas, and Chief Boatswain's Mate Louis Montealegre of Mount Vernon, N.Y., assigned to Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105), conduct flight operations with an MH-60 Seahawk on the ship's flight deck. Dewey departed Naval Base San Diego to conduct operations in the Indo-Pacific Region, Feb. 6. Dewey, along with USS Sterett (DDG 104), will also support the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group deployment in order to advance U.S. Pacific Fleet's Up-Gunned ESG concept and will train with forward-deployed amphibious ships across all mission areas.
