Rex, a military working dog belonging to Combined Team Zabul, attacks the training sleeve of Air Force Capt. Craig Phelps at Forward Operating Base Lagman, Afghanistan, May 24, 2011. Rex is just one of many working dogs stationed at FOB Lagman that train daily for combat missions. Phelps is deployed with the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division based out of Fort Wainwright, Alaska.
