The public affairs shop was humbled to interview an inspiring 932nd Maintenance Group enlisted member, Chief Master Sgt. Shane Wagner, at right, who has sadly, experienced great family loss in two separate generations. This included losing his child in an automobile accident, and the shocking death of his father to a violent murder. What he told us about grief, coping, and eventually, forgiveness, is amazing; his story of hope and resiliency will follow shortly as part of a new series at the 932nd Airlift Wing. The project is a joint effort between public affairs and 932nd Psychological Health offices at the Illinois unit, part of 22nd Air Force and the Air Force Reserve Command.
