BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Co. - Meet the 743rd Military Intelligence Battalion Chaplain (Capt.) Michael D. Demmon. Demmon, a native of Boulder, Colorado and a Broncos football fan, has been with the "Birds of Prey" battalion for a little over a month and already has some exciting ideas and events planned for the spiritual fitness of the Soldiers here.
When asked about how his time with the 743rd MI has been so far he said, "It's been really fun because this is a great place to serve and people are excited about the mission. I know I still have a lot to learn, but people are really happy here and eager to be successful."
In June, Demmon received the Dr. John W. Brinsfield Writing award for outstanding scholarship and writing during his graduation from the Chaplain Captain Career Course, class 17-001.
