Poster designed for the the 131st Bomb Wing. In the design, a series of images profiling high-performing Citizen-Airmen at work on various wing missions are tiled in a diamond pattern down the right-hand side of the image. Aimed at high school and college-aged youth, the slate-grey background and white text evokes a schoolroom chalkboard feel, with text highlighting the many benefits of Guard membership. A strong call to action and requisite branding elements, including the Air National Guard logo, the wing shield and the Path to a Better Start campaign logo are included. This poster was created to support a 131st Bomb Wing initiative to positively impact recruiting efforts among high school-aged candidates, particularly those who might not have as many opportunities to succeed in life as their peers, due to modest academic performance, financial constraints or social challenges -- all of which can be overcome with the benefits that can come with enlisting in the National Guard that can put them on a "Path to a Better Start." Strong, effective and sustained recruiting successes from a diverse pool of qualified candidates is essential to wing operations in performing its assigned Federal and state missions.
