On the face of the coin design, the wing shield for the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing is displayed, encircled by the wing's three primary missions to "defend, develop and deliver." The outside ring denotes the base name and location in the United Arab Emirates. On the reverse is the strong silhouette of an eagle over the area of operations, representing the coalition supporting the listed operations supported by the wing. The wing's values: "Strength and Confidence," are proudly displayed. Both sides of the coin feature a consistent and strong design scheme of a center disk in silver, with an outer ring of contrasting black, emblazoned with white text. This coin was designed for the 380th AEW commander, for use in recognizing top performers deployed to Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates. (U.S. Air National Guard graphic by Staff Sgt.
